07/01/11 Last day in Stockholm

Hop on Hop off busses again and this time we split up. WHile Laurie and Zelda checked out the Nordic Museum, Daniel and I went to Skansa. The park is set way up on a big plataeu and going up there is like stepping back in time. Its a park where they have gathered traditional Scandenavian buildings. They have blacksmiths, tannery's, farms, old bakeries, and in the summer people are dresse up in traditional clothes and go about their lives as they would back in that time period. Amongst all of this was a zoo. The bears were hibernating but we saw quite a few other interesting animals. There were wolves, wolverines (which look nothing like wolves), seals, foxes, owls, boars and MASSIVE bison. We even saw a huge beaver ey (A Moose) and his women. Moose have got to be one of the ugliest animals.. Then we checked out the beautiful reindeer. We had to rush off to catch the next bus to the TV Tower, where we had a look at the view and ate a very sweet lunch. In the afternoon we managed to do a little shopping and have a nice steak for dinner.
