27/12/10 Mayrhofen

Snow mobiles today!!! Heaps of fun! We traveled out a bit into a tiny village where you can see Italy from. Martin taught us how to work them, driving, stopping, turning, leaning and signals and then we were off. It was bloody freezing! We had balaclavas and snow gear on and god it was cold! But heaps of fun. we drove around the hills he showed the boys how to do a bunny hop over a drop off. It was the boys driving, the girls on the back and we were all doing well until lack of leaning and a slippery track put Laurie and Zelda in a rollover. They rolled down the side of the slope and Laurie got his first injury for the trip.. A cracked rib. We had some fun skidding around in the soft snow, Daniel was competing with the instructor for a bit, flying over the hills and getting a bit of drifting happening.

That night Daniel and I went out for dinner for our 7 year anniversary and Daniel had an interesting looking sausage on his plate...
